It has decided in the meeting convened by the Fee-checking Branch, constituted by the
Vice-Chancellor,regarding implementation of the revised guidelines under Post Matric
Scholarship students belonging to Scheduled Castes for studies in India held on
2.8.2018, that an enclosed affidavit/undertaking in the prescribed proforma from the SC
students of Punjab state only, studying in normal courses as well as self financing
courses of  the teaching departments of the Panjab University & its Regional Centres be
submitted duly filled in & signed by the eligible who applied for Post Matric
Scholarship scheme of Punjab state, to their respective teaching departments w.e.f. the
session 2018-2019 is mandatory.

You are requested to send the all the affidavit/undertaking attached proforma submitted
by the students who have applied for above said PMS, to SC/ST Cell withing 15(fifteen
days) from the date of issue of this circular letter.

This may be treated as most urgent.
